Meet the Doctor

Dr. Sorem grew up in Olympia, Washington. After a motorcycle racing injury, he became a chiropractic patient and was exposed to a natural chiropractic lifestyle.

Dr. Sorem is a graduate of Olympia High School and a Cum Laude graduate from Washington State University. He is also a Cum Laude graduate from the prestigious Palmer University School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While at Palmer University, Dr. Sorem worked as a graduate assistant in the Anatomy Department, Diagnosis Department and Rehabilitation and Sports Injury Department.

Dr. Monti SoremIn addition to studies in Chiropractic science, Dr. Sorem applied his knowledge and intrigue of the human form and received his credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. This is a certification granted by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, which is considered the world’s foremost authority on combing the knowledge and application of strength and conditioning methodologies. While at Palmer University, Dr. Sorem applied his knowledge of strength and conditioning by being a personal trainer at the Life Fitness Center and the strength and conditioning coach for the Men’s and Women’s Soccer at Scott Community College.

Before relocating back to the South Sound area, Dr. Sorem, worked at Mt. Lookout Chiropractic Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. MLCC was a large multi-doctor office where Dr. Sorem had the opportunity to polish his clinical expertise and acquire a wealth of knowledge.

Dr. Monti SoremNow, Dr. Sorem, calls Olympia home once again and is excited to serve the members of the Olympia-Lacey community. In addition to being in private practice, Dr. Sorem, is an assistant baseball coach and assistant football coach at Olympia High School. He is also the team physician for the Olympia Football program and advises the team on strength and conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention. Also, this summer, Dr. Sorem helped organize and put on an all area athletic movement camp designed to give South Sound youth a professional, evidence-based and cost-effective coaching for speed development.

Dr. Sorem is excited about the changes occurring in our community and is an active member of the Lacey Sunrise Lions and Thurston County Chamber of Commerce. Professionally, Dr. Sorem is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
